in a big town and you're forced to use public transport, you know how annoying it is to have to
carry 2 or 3 different instruments, keeping an eye on them, adjusting them, tuning them and
swapping 'live' on stage between them.
This used to happen to me too and it is why I designed the GFF-MIX with these tone woods and circuitry.

The neck to body joint is crucial for the
instrument's tone.
We put the maximum care into making a tight fitting neck pocket on the FRUDUA GFF MIX to make sure that the maximum amount of tone
and
sustain travels freely from the nut to the bridge.
|
|

The
FRUDUA GFF-MIX contoured neck heel is shaped to allow easy access to the higher fretboard positions while
it's massive and stiff to finely transmit
strings vibration and tone from the neck to the body for maximum
sustain.

The FRUDUA GFF-MIX intermediate 641,5 mm
scale
fits any hand size and offers the best balance between the right amount of attack and strings definition, and the correct balance of
warmth and punch all along the
fretboard. This is definitely the best of both worlds. |

fretboard and professional fret job allows you to adjust the action
to your playing style. Maximum comfort and speed for your playing

alnico pickups
are custom wound to perform hum-cancelling via a combination of coils that
offer noise free performance and access to superb quality tones (listen to the videos).

A double action truss rod allows you to precisely adjust
the neck relief regardless of the
strings tension
This will guarantee a comfortable action in any climate or any
environmental situation with any strings gauge from .008 up.
|
|
|
|
|
The Wilkison/Gotoh tremolo with steel sustain block tremolo mounted on the GFF MIX
already features all those modifications which ensure the minimum strings friction thus offering the
maximum tuning stability.
|
|
|
|
|
Here you can see that the portion of string inside the tremolo sustain block is reduced thereby improving the tremolos
floating performance.
|
|
|
|
|
This type of tremolo is equipped with a "push in" arm. This guarantees a quick insert and a stable and consistent arm performance.
|
|
|
|
|
All GFF-MIX Guitars feature a special volume pot (potentiometer) which delivers a smooth and gradual volume increase
for that "violin effect. It still retains the same tonal response at any volume level setting, so you can use the
guitars volume control as a gain control to the amp by moving from a clean sound to a crunch lead tone using just
the lead channel of your amplifier.

| HOW DOES THE GFF-MIX CIRCUIT WORK?
|
The FRUDUA MIX (Mirror Imaged Coils Switching System) circuits are the same ones I use on my expensive custom built guitars).
They are made up of 3 alnico custom wound pickups featuring special RW/RP coil wiring matching and two other main components:
a special 5 way switch and a push pull located in the tone control.
With the push pull 'DOWN' you get all the tonal combinations listed below (Les Paul's and Strat tones).
All of these combinations are hum-free due to the careful matching of the individual custom pickups coils.

With the push pull 'UP' the humbuckers are split and you get all the remaining combinations listed below
(Strat and Tele tone) for more of those "vintage" style tones (in both Push & Pull up or down positions
2 & 4 do not change so you always have quick-to-hand Strat tones).
